JURASSIC PARK 2 is getting another sequel.
The film was announced today by Warner Bros. and Universal, and it’s set to be released on March 12, 2019.
This is not the Jurassic Park 2 we all knew and loved, though.
The sequel is set in the prehistoric world of the same name and features the return of Mark Wahlberg, who was previously attached to play Mark Wagoner in the first movie, as well as Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Universal Pictures and Universal are teaming up on the new film, which will be directed by the same team behind Jurassic World and Jurassic World 2.
JUROSSIC PARK, which is set after the events of the first film, follows a group of dinosaurs and their journey to the edge of extinction.
It was released in theaters in 2017, and is currently the highest-grossing film of the Jurassic park franchise.
JUDAS PRIEST, which stars Johnny Depp, is set on the opposite side of the law and follows the rise of a fugitive serial killer who has become the new kingpin of crime in America.
Universal will release the film on March 24, 2019, followed by Jurassic World in 2020.
The Jurassic Park series has continued to expand over the years, with sequels to the original films and more than 200 other movies, including Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Jurassic Park: The Lost World, and Jurassic Park III.
